The head of District Administration is Deputy Commissioner. He also acts as the Collector in case of Revenue matters, District Development Commissioner in case of District Developmental works, District Magistrate in case of maintenance of Law & Order and General Administration, District Election Officer in case of conduct of Elections and so on.
The Deputy Commissioner is aided by a number of Officers like:
Additional District Development Commissioner
Additional Deputy Commissioner
and other District and Sectoral Officers. Presently there are Six territorial Tehsildars for Six Tehsils of the district.
